Powderhounds at Snowbird

Joann says hi from Snowbird. It's really cold here - note the fat mittens and Balaclava.

Tuesday was our one sunny day, so we were able to see the surrounding mountains.

We’ve skied four days so far and our legs are still holding up. Well, we haven’t exactly been skiing all day every day…

Even the locals can’t recall a week as good as this: 3+ feet of new snow in the last four days, and more expected. It’s the champagne powder we’ve always wanted to experience.

Even though we’ve been skiing hard, we’ve also had some good times to relax, rest, talk and eat great food.

We’ve found all kinds of fun places to explore, especially the unofficial runs through the trees.
